Disclosures

Who pays for this site, what commercial relationships exist, and where our conflicts of interest lie.

As of 2026-08-31, malairtebitcoin.com carries no advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored content and no paid rankings. Nobody pays us to write about them, and we are paid nothing when you buy hardware, use an exchange, or download a wallet. Our one material conflict of interest is obvious and unavoidable: this site is published by the Malairte project, about the Malairte project.

Commercial relationships

What we do not do

Most cryptocurrency mining content is monetised through hardware affiliate links, pool referrals, or hosted-mining commissions, which shapes what gets recommended. None of that applies here. If any of the following ever changes, it will be listed on this page with the date it started, and disclosed on every affected page.

  • × Advertising or display ads
  • × Affiliate or referral links of any kind
  • × Sponsored posts or paid placements
  • × Paid reviews or paid rankings
  • × Exchange, wallet, or hardware vendor commissions
  • × Payment for coverage of any other project

Funding

How development is paid for

Malairte charges a protocol fee of 10 atoms (0.0000001 MLRT) on every transaction and every coinbase, routed to a treasury address written into the protocol. This is the project's funding mechanism. It is on-chain and anyone can audit it on the block explorer ↗.

This fee is not a premine. There was no founder allocation, no ICO and no private sale; the genesis coinbase pays to a provably unspendable script. The distinction matters and we would rather state it here than have it discovered and framed for us. See the fair launch page for the full account.

Contributors work on the project without salary. Hosting and infrastructure are paid for by the project.

Related party

The exchange MLRT trades on

MLRT currently trades on one venue: CoinDock (coindock.online), which is operated by the same people who maintain Malairte. It is a related party, not an independent exchange, and we would rather you heard that from us than discovered it.

What this means for the price. A price set on a single venue that the project itself operates is not an independent market price. It reflects trades between whoever is using that one exchange, on thin volume, and it can move sharply on a small order. It should not be read as a broad market valuation of MLRT, and we do not present it as one.

Where it shows up on this site. The mining profitability calculator opens with its MLRT price field set to the last MLRT/USDT trade on CoinDock. That field is editable, and the calculator's published method says where the figure comes from. Change it and see how much the result moves — that sensitivity is the honest takeaway, not any single number.

Why we mention it unprompted. A project quoting a price from an exchange it runs, without saying so, is the kind of arrangement that destroys trust when someone else points it out. Listing on venues we do not control is on the roadmap; until that happens, this is the accurate picture.

Conflicts

Our interest in what we publish

This site is published by the project it describes. When we explain why commodity-hardware mining or fair launches matter, we are describing design choices we made and have an interest in defending. Read us accordingly, and verify the claims — most of them are verifiable on-chain or in the source code, which is the point.

We hold MLRT. It was mined, on the same terms available to anyone else running the software.

Where this site compares Malairte to other projects, we state what those projects do better. Monero has vastly more liquidity, a larger and more decentralised network, and a longer security track record. QRL solved post-quantum signatures, which Malairte has not yet done. Those comparisons are on the relevant pages, not buried here.

Not advice

What this site is not

Everything published here is educational information about how proof-of-work mining, self-custody and this network operate. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to acquire or dispose of any asset, including MLRT. Cryptocurrency carries risk, including total loss. Mining may not be profitable at your electricity price. Where a page discusses tax or regulation it names the jurisdiction and the date, and you should consult a qualified professional in your own jurisdiction before acting.
